Natsumi Kon is a Japanese female artist from Tokyo who works as both a singer and an actress, with her roots firmly planted in musical theater. Backed by the rich vocal projection and emotionally rich expression she developed on the stage, she has carved out a strong presence in the world of anime theme songs as well. She made her recording debut with Watashi wa Souzou Suru, the opening theme of Majestic Prince, and has since performed a long list of memorable anisong pieces. Her credits include the opening theme of Chaos Dragon: Sekiryu Seneki and Niji no Kakera, the opening theme of One Week Friends. Her ability to weave delicate feeling and dramatic musical flair together has made her a distinctive voice in the anisong scene.
