Dasoku is a Japanese male utaite, or online singer, who rose to fame through Niconico Douga, the country's popular video-sharing platform. He won over a large fanbase with his distinctive, sweet vocal tone and emotionally expressive style of performance, and is also known as a member of the utaite unit root five. He stepped into the anime world by handling Never Ending, the ending theme of the anime Kingdom, where his grand ballad performance helped bring out the emotional weight of the series' historical war epic. As an artist who started out online before moving into major-label projects, he has been expanding his activities across both the anisong world and the mainstream music scene, building a career that bridges these two spaces.
