Kaoru Mizuhara is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Chiba Prefecture. She made a strong impression as Yomi Isayama in Ga-Rei: Zero, and her delicate, melancholy singing on the ending theme Yume no Ashioto ga Kikoeru heightened the tragic tone of that anime. In the CG anime gdgd Fairies, she plays Shirushiru, another of the series' three fairy leads, and performs character songs such as the ending theme Gudatte Poyotte, which leans into the show's loose, goofy atmosphere. Her ability to shift so completely between the quiet grief of a serious drama and the easygoing humor of a comedic short series shows the range of her talent.
