PASSPO* is a Japanese girls' rock unit formed around the theme of cabin attendants, with concepts rooted in sky and travel. Built on a more rock-leaning sound than the typical idol group, they won fans over with cheerful, energetic live performances and a distinctive aviation-themed image. Their spirited style naturally lent itself to anime tie-ups, and they contributed Truly, the ending theme of the television anime Zettai Bouei Leviathan, as well as STEP & GO, the ending theme of Tanken Driland: 1000-nen no Mahou. Through these songs and others, they carved out a unique spot in the crowded idol music scene by pairing bright, upbeat rock numbers with their flight attendant persona, giving their anisong work a cheerful, adventurous flavor.
