YURI*KARI is a princess-themed unit that emerged from Pony Canyon's Koetama Audition, a talent contest aimed at discovering new voice-acting and singing talent. The duo was formed by Karin Takahashi and Yurika Endo, pairing their voices to create a delicate, otherworldly sound. They made their debut with Kimi to Futari, the ending theme for the television anime The Severing Crime Edge, which introduced them as promising young performers in the anime music scene. The unit's signature is their clear twin-vocal harmonies, which bring out a gentle, fleeting atmosphere tinged with girlish innocence. Through their careful vocal interplay, they paint a delicate musical world that matches the quietly unsettling yet sensitive tone of the series they helped launch.
