Confiture Kikaku is a music unit formed by vocalists Kohei, Mao, Pour Lui, and CHIRO. The group's name combines the French word confiture, meaning jam, with the Japanese word kikaku, meaning project or plan, hinting at the eclectic mix of flavors each member brings to the collaboration. The unit was put together to perform Break the war, the opening theme song for the short-form anime Chokkyu Hyoudai Robot Anime, a series made entirely using MMD-based computer graphics. Their energetic contribution suited the show's quirky, experimental nature, blending spirited vocals with an upbeat sound that complemented the unusual visual style of the robot anime. Through this one-off project, the group created a memorable piece of anime music history.
