Hyadain is the artist alias of music creator Kenichi Maeyamada, a producer widely celebrated for his addictive, hook-filled songwriting that draws deeply from J-pop, Showa-era kayokyoku, and anime culture. His tracks often combine catchy, retro-flavored melodies with lyrics full of playful humor and clever references. He composed and also sang Hyadain no Kakakata Kataomoi-C, the opening theme for the comedy anime Nichijou, which became a beloved earworm for fans of the series. He also handled the theme song Shift to Jikyu to, Tsuide ni Ai wo Torimodose!! for the parody anime DD Hokuto no Ken, bringing his signature comedic energy to the track. His work consistently bridges mainstream pop sensibility with otaku culture affection.
