プリズミー

Prizmmy☆ is a Japanese female dance-and-vocal unit composed of young performers trained at the Avex Artist Academy, the music school run by major label Avex. The group was launched in conjunction with the anime Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future, the second TV entry in the girls' idol franchise about young performers who compete in the skating-meets-pop Prism Show sport. They serve as a real-world counterpart to the show's in-universe idols, combining sharp, precisely choreographed routines with bright pop vocals to deliver a long string of opening, ending, and insert songs across the franchise. In the follow-up series Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live, they provided the opening theme with a cover of the classic 1990s J-pop hit "BOY MEETS GIRL" by TRF, giving the beloved song a fresh, youthful spin. Their overall catalog helped define the glossy sound and energetic stage style of the Pretty Rhythm franchise's music for a generation of young fans.
