Eri from STAR☆ANIS is one of the vocalists in STAR☆ANIS, the singing unit assembled to provide the in-show idol vocals for the popular girls' anime Aikatsu! The series follows aspiring idols at an elite performing arts academy as they train, compete, and sparkle their way up the entertainment ladder, and STAR☆ANIS is the real-world voice behind many of those dazzling stage numbers. Eri is credited with performing the songs of several characters in the cast, including Sakura Kitaoji and Maria Himesato, each with her own distinct personality and musical color. Her expressive, flexible voice can shift to suit whichever idol she is representing on stage, moving from cute and bright to cool and graceful as needed. Across the many songs she has contributed to Aikatsu!, she has helped give the series' performances much of their polish and emotional lift.
