Aoi Teshima

Aoi Teshima is a Japanese female singer from Fukuoka. She rose to prominence with Teru's Song, the theme of the Studio Ghibli film Tales from Earthsea, for which she also voiced the heroine Therru. Rooted in jazz and film music, she wields a clear, warm voice and has woven her signature world into anime themes as well, including Haru no Sakebi, the opening of the TV anime Ronja the Robber's Daughter, her second work with director Goro Miyazaki, and Hanasaku Michi de, an ending of the TV anime Until a Certain Witch Dies.
