A sister group of AKB48 whose home turf covers seven prefectures of the Seto Inland Sea region, known for uniquely locally rooted activities such as starting out at a ship-based theater. Favoring fresh, lyrical songs, they have brought that same refreshing quality to tie-ups including the ending theme of the anime Theogonia.
