GLAY is one of Japan's defining rock bands, formed by TERU (vocals), TAKURO (guitar and leader), HISASHI (guitar), and JIRO (bass), all from Hakodate, Hokkaido. Celebrated for melodic, emotionally rich songwriting and a string of nationwide hits, they remain a top act capable of filling domes. Their presence in anime music is significant too, providing 'Kaishin no Ichigeki' for 'Grendizer U', 'Dystopia' and 'Chouonsoku Destiny' for 'Kuromukuro', 'Dead Or Alive' for 'Record of Ragnarok III', and 'Hajimari no Uta' for 'Ace of Diamond act II', among many others.
