A singer representing Japan's kayokyoku scene, known for folk songs and popular music. Armed with a beautifully resonant high register, she delivered numerous hits and left her name in postwar popular music history. In the TV anime 'Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray', her song is used as an insert track.
