Ai Furihata is a voice actress and singer from Nagano Prefecture. She made her voice acting debut as Ruby Kurosawa in Love Live! Sunshine!!, and is also active as a member of the school idol group Aqours. As a solo artist, she has released mini-albums such as "Moonrise" and "Makeup," clothed in a musical world with a strong city-pop and retro kayoukyoku flavor. Her nostalgic, fresh voice and her involvement in writing, composing and arranging give her a distinctive presence. For the TV anime Astro Note, she performs the opening theme "Hohoemi no Oto" and also plays an underground idol character in the series itself, supporting the work both in song and in performance.
