Pii is a solo project by PORIN of the band Awesome City Club. Building on the expressive range she developed in her band, she pursues a more personal and freely exploratory musical world, marked by a soft, soaring voice and charming pop arrangements. For the TV anime My Neighbor Yokai-san, she created the opening theme "Obake Himawari," carefully reading the source manga and visiting the real-life location that inspired the setting before writing the song. The result is a nostalgic, lovable piece that attentively captures the atmosphere of the series.
