Mone Kamishiraishi is an actress, singer and narrator from Kagoshima Prefecture. She entered the entertainment industry after winning the Toho Cinderella audition and received the Japan Academy Film Prize for Newcomer of the Year for the film Lady Maiko. She voiced the heroine Mitsuha in the animated film Your Name., which rocketed her to nationwide fame. As a singer, her soft, crystalline voice has graced numerous drama and anime theme songs, including those for Bartender: Glass of God, 7SEEDS and Kyoukai no Rinne, delivering expressive performances that sit close to each work.
