Hakubi is a three-piece rock band from Kyoto. Built around vocalist-guitarist Katagiri, they are known for delicate, literary lyrics and a band sound where aching sadness and raw emotion sit side by side. Their songs, which sharply capture true-to-life feelings, have struck a deep chord especially with young listeners. For pray, the ending theme of the TV anime The Unwanted Undead Adventurer... actually, Failure Frame, they wrote a song inspired by the series' heroine Serus, layering the wish to be strong for someone else onto their own message. They also performed Rewrite, the ending theme of the TV anime The Tale of the Outcasts.
