Frederic is a four-piece Japanese rock band formed in Kobe, Hyogo. Built around twin brothers Kenji Mihara (vocals, guitar) and Koji Mihara (bass), and rounded out by Ryuji Akato (guitar) and Takeru Takahashi (drums), they are known for addictive rhythms, humor-laced lyrics, and a rock sound made for dancing. Hits like Oddloop and Kanashii Ureshii have become their signature tracks, and they have contributed to many anime projects: the theme song CYAN for the theatrical anime A Few Moments of Cheers, the opening Saika for The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window, and the opening Kanashii Ureshii for Love and Lies, among others.
