Shikao Suga is a male singer-songwriter and music producer from Tokyo. He made his major debut with the single "Hit Chart wo Kakenukero," earning high acclaim for his distinctive sound—funk and soul elevated into J-pop—and his literary lyrics. He is also known for writing the lyrics of "Yozora no Mukou" (which he provided to SMAP) and "Progress" under the kōkua moniker. His representative songs include "Ogon no Tsuki" and "Story," and his anime theme songs include "19-sai" and "NOBODY KNOWS" (OPs for the "xxxHOLiC" series), "Hajimari no Hi feat. Mummy-D" (OP for "Tegami Bachi"), and "Yuudachi" (OP for "Boogiepop Phantom" / Boogiepop wa Warawanai).
