w.o.d. is a Japanese neo-grunge / garage rock band formed by middle school classmates centered on Takuya Saito and Ken McKay. The band name stands for "webbing off duckling." Championing a straightforward rock sound stripped of R&B and hip hop elements, they aim to follow in the footsteps of Led Zeppelin. They achieved their first anime tie-up with "STARS," the opening theme for the TV anime "BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Separation," coloring the work with a sturdy grunge sound.
