Rino Sashihara

Rino Sashihara is a Japanese personality, former idol, and producer from Oita Prefecture. She passed the AKB48 5th-generation audition in 2007 and transferred to HKT48 in 2012. She claimed her first victory in the AKB48 General Election in 2013 and went on to win four times in total—including three consecutive wins at the 7th, 8th, and 9th polls—an unprecedented record. After graduating from HKT48 in 2019, she has been active as a variety-show personality and producer of idol groups such as =LOVE, ≠ME, and ≒JOY. She performed the opening theme for the TV anime "The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious," among other tie-ups.
