Rude-α is a Japanese male rapper and singer-songwriter from Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture. He began rapping in high school and took second place in the National High-School Rap Championship in 2014. He made his major-label debut on Sony Music Labels in 2019, showcasing a versatile style that moves between rap and melodic singing, paired with relatable lyrics about everyday hopes and struggles. His anime tie-ups include "Paradise," the opening theme for the TV anime "SK∞ the Infinity," and "LIFE," an ending theme for "Dr. Stone."
