JO1 is a Japanese boy group formed through the audition-reality TV show "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN," consisting of eleven members and signed to LAPONE ENTERTAINMENT. They made their debut in March 2020 with the single "PROTOSTAR," quickly winning the Best 5 New Artists honor at the Japan Gold Disc Awards. Their name expresses the idea that the trainees who pursued their dreams together on the show will become one and aim for the top of the world. They also performed the opening theme for the TV anime "Blue Thermal" / "Gunjou no Fanfare."
