RADWIMPS is a Japanese four-member rock band formed in 2001, making their major debut in 2005. Vocalist Yojiro Noda writes almost all of the band's music, drawing on philosophical themes of love and mortality in lyrics paired with genre-spanning arrangements that appeal across generations. They composed the scores and theme songs for Makoto Shinkai's animated films "Your Name," "Weathering with You," and "Suzume," earning the Japan Academy Prize for Best Music Score for each and etching their name deeply into anime film history.
