RAKURA is a Japanese female singer-songwriter from Fukuoka Prefecture. She was immersed in music from early childhood, performing in local musicals from the age of three. She made her major-label debut in 2020 while still a 17-year-old high school student. Her music blends slow jam, R&B, and soul into a genre-defying sound centered on a distinctive, soulful voice. She has also provided anime tie-ups including "Shooting Star," an opening theme for the TV anime "Detective Conan: Zero's Tea Time."
