Mitsuru Matsuoka

Mitsuru Matsuoka is a Japanese musician, actor, and personality from Kadoma, Osaka. He founded the rock band SOPHIA in 1994, making their major debut the following year, and writes much of the group's lyrics as its frontman. In 2013 he also formed the band MICHAEL with SOPHIA's Kazutaka Toyoda and Yoshitomo Akamatsu. Beyond music, he is an active actor in TV dramas and films. He performed "Tsumi to Batsu to Underground," an ending theme for the TV anime "Fuuto Tantei," continuing his long connection with the Kamen Rider franchise.
