Skirt and PUNPEE is a collaborative credit combining singer-songwriter Wataru Sawabe's solo project "Skirt" with rapper-producer PUNPEE. Both artists hail from Tokyo's Itabashi Ward and first teamed up on "ODDTAXI," the opening theme for the TV anime of the same name. Merging Skirt's melodic pop sensibility with PUNPEE's smooth rap flow, the track became a much-discussed highlight, its laid-back groove perfectly matching the mystery set in nighttime Tokyo.
