Naotaro Moriyama is a Japanese male singer-songwriter and actor from Tokyo, and the son of singer Ryoko Moriyama. He made his major debut in 2002 and broke through the following year with the million-selling "Sakura (Dokusho)." Known for literary, philosophical lyrics—mostly co-written with Tako Okachimachi—and a uniquely pure singing voice, he has earned a devoted multigenerational following and contributed anime tie-ups including an opening theme for "Somali and the Forest Spirit."
