Akai Koen

Akai Koen was a Japanese female rock band based in Tachikawa, Tokyo, formed in 2010 and debuting on a major label in 2012. Founding guitarist Maisa Tsuno wrote nearly all of the group's music, also providing songs for major artists including SMAP and Morning Musume. The band contributed tie-up tracks to TV anime including "The Princess and the Pilot" and "Drifting Dragons." Following Tsuno's untimely passing, Akai Koen disbanded in 2021.
