Rekishi is the solo project of musician Takafumi Ikeda, known for his unique style that fuses humor-laced songs inspired by Japanese history with funk- and soul-rooted grooves. His theme song "Giga Aishiteru" for the film Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Crash! Rakuga Kingdom and Almost Four Heroes delivers a warm, feel-good number about the love between parent and child, uplifting the film for audiences of all ages. He is also highly regarded for his charismatic live performances.
