Fudanjuku is a Japanese idol unit whose members are female performers presenting themselves in male attire. The group began as a cross-dressing sub-unit of the idol collective Nakano Fujo Sisters and continued as a standalone act after the parent group halted its music activities. Launched with comedian Hanawa as its producer, the unit earned a devoted fan base through cool yet cute "male idol" performances, and has contributed multiple anime tie-ups, making them a crossover favorite among both idol and anime audiences.
