Chima

Artist

Chima is a Japanese female singer-songwriter based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. She spent her childhood in Germany and the United States, where she was exposed to musicals and gospel, and later moved to Hokkaido drawn by its landscapes. Known for a warm, translucent voice accompanied by guitar, she performs anime theme songs, film soundtracks, and commercial music, and also takes part in collaborative projects including the unit "ikire" with filmmaker Shunji Iwai.
