A female singer-songwriter from Atsugi in Kanagawa Prefecture, signed to Office Augusta. After holding jobs as a nursery teacher, apparel-shop staff, and screw-factory worker, she found her way to music, building a distinctive rap-inflected vocal style influenced by hip-hop, jazz, and reggae paired with lyrics drawn from everyday life. Her anime tie-ins include the ending theme Kakatte Koi yo for Megalobox and the opening theme Don't for The Laughing Salesman NEW, and she has continued to expand her audience through the NIPPONNO ONNAWO UTAU album series, which keeps singing the lives of Japan's women.
