A Kyoto-born rock band centered on Shigeru Kishida (vocals/guitar) and Masashi Satō (bass/vocals). Formed in a Ritsumeikan University music circle, they evolve continuously by drawing on folk, rock, electronica, classical, and jazz influences, and are regarded as one of Japan's leading alternative rock bands. They wrote and performed "Daiji na Koto," the theme song for the TV anime "Real Girl," crafting the song after closely reading the original manga.
