Real name Mao Ichimichi. She works on live-action acting under her real name and uses the stage name M·A·O for voice work. Since her voice-acting debut she has played a wide range of roles including Pecorine in Princess Connect! Re:Dive and Fumika Sagisawa in The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, drawing fans with her grounded acting and singing. As a vocalist she performed Tabi-Uta, the opening of Toei Animation's original TV anime Kado: The Right Answer under the credit 'Saraka You starring M·A·O,' delivering a quiet, translucent ballad that complements the show's tightly built sci-fi worldview.
