DEAN FUJIOKA is a border-crossing multi-creator working as actor, singer-songwriter, film director, and producer. Born in Fukushima, he launched his career as a model and actor in Hong Kong before broadening his activities across Asia in places such as Taiwan and Indonesia. He gained nationwide recognition in Japan playing entrepreneur Tomoatsu Godai in the NHK morning drama Asa ga Kita. A cosmopolitan artist fluent in Japanese, English, Chinese, and more, he also pursues a musical career, writing and performing History Maker, the opening theme for the figure-skating anime Yuri!!! on ICE, a song that thrilled skating and anime fans around the world.
