A singer-songwriter from Hiroshima Prefecture known for her genre-defying musicality and exceptional vocal abilities. She is widely recognized for writing, composing, and performing "Inochi no Kioku," the theme song for the Studio Ghibli film "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya." She is also a Buddhist priest.
