A singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer from Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture. He picked up guitar at ten, fell deep into Eric Clapton, honed his technique by self-study, and absorbed a wide range of styles from R&B and soul to jazz. He made his major debut with Warner Music through Dream of Life, the opening theme for the second season of the NHK General TV anime Bakuman, asserting his presence with energetic band sound that pushes the dream-chasing protagonists forward. As a hometown ambassador for Kurume, he is highly regarded as a multi-instrumentalist whose work stays rooted in his origins.
