A singer-songwriter from Kochi Prefecture whose appeal lies in high-quality pop crossing soul, jazz, R&B, funk, and rock, paired with a flowing, clear high-toned voice often described as a silky voice that invites tears. For the opening theme Manazashi Daydream of the TV anime Nodame Cantabile Finale, he wrote, composed, and arranged the song himself, weaving the melody of J.S. Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring into the introduction to evoke the classical-music drama.
