A singer-songwriter from Kakegawa in Shizuoka Prefecture, known for a clear, distinctly Japanese vocal aesthetic and lyrics carrying a literary afterglow. Since debuting with a theme song for the otome game 'Hakuoki', she has remained deeply intertwined with the franchise and contributed many of its songs. On the TV anime side she performed 'Izayoi Namida' as the opening theme of 'Hakuoki' and 'Maikaze' as the opening theme of the sequel 'Hakuoki Hekketsuroku', her delicate singing carrying the story of the Shinsengumi and a fated young woman.
