A male-female duo that performed under the concept of a '2.5-dimensional eccentric music unit'. Pairing a mysterious cello-carrying female vocalist with an Akihabara-rooted creator handling sound production, they crafted a distinctive worldview that fused Japanese melodic sensibilities with progressive arrangements. Their debut single 'Calendula Requiem' was chosen as the later opening theme of the noitaminA TV anime 'Shiki', rendering the work's themes of isolation, fear and conflict among villagers in stately sound. The release came in first-press limited, standard and 'Shiki' editions, each closely tied to the anime's atmosphere.
