A collaboration billing in which ULTRA-PRISM — a '2.5-dimensional POP' production unit comprising vocalist Usagi Tsukimiya and guitarist-cum-sound-producer Masaya Koike — teams up with Hisako Kanemoto, the voice of the heroine Ika Musume from the TV anime 'Shinryaku! Ika Musume'. Drawing on the duo's expertise in anime, game and denpa songs rooted in otaku culture, the result is a comedic, hook-heavy tie-up song. The series' opening theme 'Shinryaku no Susume', released on Lantis's Mellow Head label as ULTRA-PRISM's second major single, became a talking point for its lyrics liberally sprinkled with Ika Musume's verbal tics such as 'geso' and 'janaIka'.
