YU+KI
Artist
YU+KI is a musician, songwriter, and vocalist from Nagasaki Prefecture. He began his career in 1998 with the visual-kei hard rock band JURASSIC, making his major-label debut on Polystar Records in 2002. After the band dissolved, he leveraged the powerful, polished rock vocals he had developed to record numerous anime theme songs as a solo artist. For the TV anime Metal Fight Beyblade, based on the Takara Tomy hobby franchise, he performed the eponymous opening theme Metal Fight Beyblade, building a high-speed rock opener whose burning lyrics symbolize the protagonist's fighting spirit.
