MASH is the stage name of singer-songwriter Kenichi Masuda from Kasugai, Aichi. He formed the hip-hop band ASIAN PIMPS in 2001, went solo after its 2006 dissolution, and made his major-label debut in 2007 with the mini-album Tennen Ongensoku. He is known for vivid storytelling and a sturdy voice that fuses rock and folk textures. For the TV anime Metal Fight Beyblade, he performed the ending theme Boys ~Hikari Kagayaku Ashita e~, passionately portraying boys' friendship and resolve to write a powerful coda for this hobby anime. His signature song Boku ga Ita charted long on USEN and later earned gold certification, cementing his standing.
