Mayumi Gojo

Mayumi Gojo is an anisong singer from Ibaraki Prefecture. She debuted in 1999 with an insert song for the TV anime 'Ojamajo Doremi' and became widely recognised as the face of the Pretty Cure franchise through the opening 'DANZEN! Futari wa Precure', which won the 9th Animation Kobe Theme Song Award. Within the series she also handled endings such as 'Getchuu! Lovelovuu?!', 'Gamba-lance de Dance', '"Warau ga Kachi!" de GO!' and the Max Heart version of the opener. Outside Precure, her credits include the opening 'JUSTICE of LIGHT' for 'The Sacred Blacksmith', the opening 'Yume ni Yell! Patissiere' for 'Yumeiro Patissiere', and the insert song 'In This Serenity' for 'Xenosaga THE ANIMATION', carrying heat through her resonant high register.
