Up Up is a unit name attached to the ending theme 'Girls be UP!' for the 1999 TV anime 'Kakyusei', adapted from the romance adventure game. The UHF broadcast of the show included a live-action segment called the 'Kakyusei End Corner', and the way the unit's vocal performance was inserted to play alongside the ending sequence became a talking point. In April 2000 KSS released the album 'Up Vocal Collection Girls be UP!', collecting related vocal songs including the single. Despite a short active period, the rarity of having a live-action segment tied to the ending has kept the unit in the memory of fans of the show.
