Charcoal is the band who performed both ending themes of the TV anime 'Tree in the Sun', based on Osamu Tezuka's manga. The first ED 'Hikari no Mukou e' was written, composed and arranged by KEN NAKAMURA, while the later 'High Dive' was written, composed and arranged by Marika Shiraiwa. Their supple vocals and composed band sound supported the lingering aftertaste of this serious historical drama about young men living through the end of the Tokugawa era.
