SUEMITSU & THE NODAME ORCHESTRA is a special project assembled by pianist and singer-songwriter Atsushi Suemitsu for the anime 'Nodame Cantabile.' Inspired by the in-story 'Nodame Orchestra,' it was set up as an extension of his solo project SUEMITSU & THE SUEMITH. Their signature song is 'Sagittarius,' the show's ending theme, with Suemitsu personally handling all lyrics, composition, and arrangement—an elegant piano-driven piece befitting a series built around classical music that closes out each episode.
