Senri Manaka is a singer from Fukuoka Prefecture affiliated with avex trax. Inspired to pursue singing after seeing Lauryn Hill in 'Sister Act 2,' she moved alone to New York to take vocal and dance lessons. Her representative anime work is the robot anime 'Dancouga Nova,' for which she performed both the opening theme 'Tori no Uta' and the ending theme 'PLACE,' writing the lyrics for both herself, with composition by NAOKI and arrangement by Masao Doi. By handling both the OP and ED, she gave the series a consistent musical vision. Known for a soulful, expressive voice cultivated abroad, she has also broadened her range through collaborations with outside creators, including songs written and composed by Tetsuya Komuro.
