RIZE is a Japanese rock band centered on JESSE (vocals and guitar). Their signature is a mixture-rock style spanning nu metal, alternative, punk, hard rock, and reggae, known for a loud yet groove-driven sound. For the 2007 anime 'Shion no Ou' they performed the opening theme 'LADY LOVE,' bringing a heavy rock edge to the tense world of this shogi-themed series; the track counts among the band's signature singles. Built around the bilingual JESSE, RIZE has continued as a live band for many years, with its members also active across other bands and solo projects.
